By Shaun Kitchener

Leona Lewis’s comeback campaign got a huge boost last night when she joined Taylor Swift as the latest guest on the 1989 World Tour.

The X Factor winner sang her 2007 smash Bleeding Love with Swift in Nashville, as word about her latest album I Am continues to slowly but surely spread worldwide.

The record charted at No12 in the UK and just about made it into the Top 40 Stateside; her first to do so since 2009’s Echo (No13). Bleeding Love was a huge hit all over the place upon its release; topping the chart on both sides of the Atlantic and selling millions of copies.

The duet with Swift has helped her trend on Twitter this morning – with fans excited to see Lewis back  in the big leagues after a few years below the radar.
