The second trailer for Margot Robbie’s new outing as DC villian Harley Quinn has been released.
Robbie is set to reprise her role as the DC villain – a role she made famous in Suicide Squad – alongside Jurnee Smollett-Bell (Black Canary), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Huntress), and Rosie Perez (Renee Montoya) in Birds of Prey.
Chris Messina stars as Victor Zsasz and Ewan McGregor as Roman Sionis aka Black Mask. Newcomer Ella Jay Basco also stars as Cassandra “Cass” Cain in her feature film debut.
The new film – which is set for release later this year – marks the first fully female-led superhero film in both the DC and Marvel Universes, and it looks spectacular.
In the new trailer, we see Harley Quinn, who is bisexual in the DC comics, and the rest of the Birds of Prey fight back against McGregor’s Black Mask – who is reportedly going to be the first gay villain.
