How’s this for a Monday morning treat. Much-loved country trio the Dixie Chicks tackled perhaps Lana Del Rey’s signature song, Video Games, during a live show over the weekend – and nailed it.
The group, who have sold over 30 million albums and in recent years have reunited from a hiatus as a touring act, performed a faithful take on Del Rey’s breakout hit at the Bridge School Benefit Concert in California last night. Take a look:
The record-breaking trio will return to London for a show at the 02 Arena in May of next year. However, this stunning take on Del Rey’s hit has us noticing tht’s been almost a decade since the Dixie Chicks last released an album – 2006’s brilliant Taking The Long Way. New music please, ladies?
