Troye Sivan serves queer couture in the stunning video for ‘Bloom’ – WATCH

The 23-year-old singer is living his best damn life right now.

Troye Sivan has unveiled the video for his brand new single ‘Bloom’ – and what a video it is.

The 23-year-old Aussie has continued to demonstrate why he’s one of the most exciting gay artists in the world right now with a high-fashion shoot that turns gender norms on their head as the young star shows off more lewks than a Drag Race workroom.

Of course, given that ‘Bloom’ has already been referred to by Troye as a ‘bop about bottoming’, it’s safe to say the gay-o-meter has truly blown off the scale with this latest visual.

The track is the third single to be lifted from Sivan’s upcoming studio album of the same name, due for release later this summer.

Speaking to Attitude about the direction of the follow-up to 2016’s critically-acclaimed Blue Neighbourhood earlier this year, Troye teased: “The album is definitely intimate. I thought: ‘I have to be honest about what’s going on in my life’. I wanted it to feel grimy and sexy.”

He continued: “It felt really natural. I mean this wasn’t me thinking to myself ‘Oh it’s time to grow up and have my ‘sexy phase’ or whatever’.

“I just sort of wanted to become more comfortable with sharing. For me, the goal of the whole project is to be the representation for somebody else that I don’t feel like I’ve necessarily had always.

“I would think that you would play these songs to any 22-year-old gay guy and they would be like ‘Yeah, I get that, that’s where I’m at’.

“So I just wanted to be honest and real, and if honest and real right now happenes to be sexy warehouse party, then that’s where it is.”
