The first full trailer for the upcoming Birds of Prey movie has been released and it looks amazing.
Margot Robbie is set to reprise her role as the DC villain Harley Quinn – a role she made famous in Suicide Squad – alongside Jurnee Smollett-Bell (Black Canary), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Huntress), and Rosie Perez (Renee Montoya).
Chris Messina stars as Victor Zsasz and Ewan McGregor as Roman Sionis aka Black Mask. Newcomer Ella Jay Basco also stars as Cassandra “Cass” Cain in her feature film debut.
The description of the film reads: “After splitting with the Joker, Harley Quinn joins superheroes Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya to save a young girl from an evil crime lord, Black Mask in Gotham City.”
Now in the official trailer, we see Harley Quinn, who is bisexual in the DC comics, and the rest of the Birds of Prey fight back against McGregor’s Black Mask – who is reportedly going to be the first gay villain.
