Taylor Swift is set to headline Glastonbury Festival next year.

The ‘Lover’ singer will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the iconic British music festival next after she revealed she was headlining on the Pyramid Stage.

Writing on Twitter, Taylor said: “I’m ecstatic to tell you that I’ll be headlining Glastonbury on its 50th anniversary – See you there! 💋”

Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis told the BBC: “She’s one of the biggest stars in the world and her songs are absolutely amazing. We’re so delighted.”

Taylor will be the first female artist to top the bill since Adele in 2016.

Paul McCartney was previously announced to be headlining on Saturday, with Motown star Diana Ross performing the Sunday afternoon “legends slot”.
