SOS! A ‘Mamma Mia!’-themed restaurant is opening in London

You'll be able to get your fill of ABBA classics at The O2 from next year.

If the release of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again this summer wasn’t ebough to sate your appetite for frothy feel-good fun and ABBA, then a new restaurant coming to London next year could be about to change your world.

Mamma Mia! The Party is a new immersive dining experience set to open at London’s O2 Arena from Spring 2019, offering Mediterranean cuisine and live performances of classic songs from the film.

ABBA fanatics will dine in a recreation of a taverna on the Greek island of Skopelos, where the first film was shot, and will be encourage to get up, dance and sing along to their favourite hits.

A Swedish verison of the restaurant opened in Sweden in 2016, has has enjoyed sold-out shows for three consecutive years.

A desctiption on the restaurant’s website reads: “Meet taverna owner Nikos and his family as their story unfolds in a glorious night of song, dance and celebration.

“Featuring your favourite ABBA songs performed by actors and musicians all around you, soak up the island atmosphere and feast on mouth-watering Mediterranean food & drink!”

Tickets for Mamma Mia! The Party are set to go on sale this autumn, but priority access to available now to ensure this opportinuty doesn’t go slipping through your fingers (sorry).
