Smash-hit musical ‘Six’ returns to the West End

Divorced, beheaded… and now socially distanced!

By Thomas Stichbury

Please ‘Don’t Lose Ur Head’ but we have some great news… Six the musical is rolling back into the West End.

After being forced to end its original run at The Arts Theatre in March, courtesy of Miss Corona, the pop-tastic play is returning for a string of socially distanced performances.

Masks and hand sani at the ready as Six – Live at the Lyric will hold court once more for a limited season at the Lyric Theatre in London, from 15 Novembers to 31 January 2021.

Written by Toby Marlowe and Lucy Moss, the historemixed hit rewrites the herstory of Henry VIII’s wives, transforming them from Tudor queens into chart-topping princesses.

Soaked with sass and girl power, if Little Mix were to give a history lesson, this is what it would like.

Earlier this year, Attitude reviewed the show and gave it five stars, writing: “Believe the hype and word of mouth. This musical/concert about and starring the six wives of Henry VIII is every bit as brilliant as you’ve been lead to believe… Sisters doing it for themselves has never been so much fun.”

Six – Live at the Lyric opens at the Lyric Theatre on 15 November. For tickets, click here.
