Sarah Paulson doesn’t have any information about ‘American Horror Story: 1984’

Could this be the first season without the AHS alum?

By Steve Brown

Sarah Paulson is in the dark about American Horror Story: 1984.

Last week, creator Ryan Murphy released a teaser trailer for the upcoming ninth instalment of his hit anthology series along with the title ‘1984’.

And now, while speaking to Syfy, AHS alum Paulson – who has starred in every series to date – admitted she is still ‘in the dark’ about the upcoming season and said she usually has ‘more information’ at this point.

When asked if she’d be back for another season, she said: “I don’t really know the answer to that.

“I think… all I can say is I know the least about this season upcoming that I’ve known about any season. I don’t even know… yeah, that’s all I can say.

“I think that’s all I can say. Usually, I have more information at this point, and I’m bugging Ryan with questions.

“Right now, I don’t have a lot and yeah, I’m so busy with Ratched, it’s hard for me to think about anything beyond that.”

Not much else has been revealed about the season except that Gus Kenworthy has been cast to play Emma Roberts’ boyfriend and AHS alum Evan Peters will not be returning this year.

Could the ninth season happen with Paulson? We sure hope not!
