RuPaul’s Drag Race is set to add yet another string to its bow with its first-ever reality spin-off, and we’re already living for the drama.

RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue is set to follow six of the show’s most iconic queens as they prepare for the launch of the RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! Vegas residency show – and on the basis of the first trailer, it’s clear we ain’t in the workroom no more.

Over the course of six episodes, the docuseries will chart the personal and professional lives of Naomi Smalls, Yvie Oddly, Miss Vanjie, Kameron Michaels, Derrick Barry, and Asia O’Hara, and with Vanjie and Kameron seen locking lips in the first teaser, we’re expecting plenty of antics and shenanigans.

RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue brings viewers behind the scenes of a jaw-dropping live stage show as it launches on the world famous Las Vegas strip”, an official statment reads.

“The series gives fans a deeper look into the lives of their favorite queens as they showcase the charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent it takes to pull off groundbreaking performances in front of a live audience.”

RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue premieres Friday 21 August at 8pm on VH1 in the US.

There’s no word on a UK premiere date as of yet, but given the last two series of Drag Race have aired on Netflix, all eyes will be on the streaming giant to see whether this latest spin-off gets picked up on these shores.
