On her new role, Ora said: “So excited to be part of – and for my team to win – The Voice this series! Let’s have some fun will.i.am, Tom and Ricky! I’m really looking forward to the blind auditions – and spinning in my big red chair. EXCITED!!!!”

BBC One Controller, Charlotte Moore, said that Ora’s “unique sense of style and her no nonsense attitude will really mix things up” for the 2015 series.

Emma Willis and Marvin Humes have also been confirmed to return as presenters for a second year.

The Blind Audition phase of the competition will begin filming in Salford next month, ahead of the show’s January premiere.

Ora topped the charts earlier this year with I Will Never Let You Down, matching Geri Halliwell’s chart record – read more here.
