Ricky Martin has confirmed he’s married Jwan Yosef.
The American Crime Story: Versace star opened up to E! News at the premiere of the show last night (January 10) after Attitude shared a story yesterday suggesting that the pair had secretly tied the knot.
The 46-year-old didn’t reveal the date that he got married, but he did reveal that the couple are planning a three-day party to celebrate.
When asked if he was a fiancé or husband, Martin said: “I’m a husband.”
“But we’re doing a heavy party in a couple of months. We exchanged vows and we’ve sweared everything and we’ve signed all the papers that we needed to sign, prenups and everything.”
In a behind-the-scenes video accompanying a shoot with Architectural Digest earlier this week , Martin let slip that the pair had already tied the knot, referring to his 33-year-old Syrian-Swedish boyfriend as “husband”.
The couple began dating in early 2016 after exchanging messages on Instagram.
The ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’ singer later announced on Ellen that he had popped the question in November that year, and the couple have been living in Los Angeles with Martin’s twin sons ever since.
