Rejoice! Gay porn drama ‘King Cobra’ may soon be coming to a cinema near you

, the James Franco-produced movie about the murder of gay adult film producer Bryan Kocis, received positive reviews at the Tribeca Film Festival and this month’s OutFest, but has yet to be given an official theatrical cinema release.
But that could soon change, with film distribution company IFC Films announced their intention to bring the film to US theatres.
The company told Variety: “King Cobra affirms that Justin Kelly is a major up-and-coming talent with a bright future. In our tradition of supporting emerging filmmakers, IFC Films cannot wait to bring his daring, darkly witty film to US audiences.”
The film, which also charts the rise of adult film star Brent Corrigan, apparently includes an “insane” sex scene between Franco and Keegan, who play a pair of ruthless gay porn producers seeking to recruit Corrigan, played by former Disney star Garrett Clayton.
While the current deal will only bring King Cobra to American screens, a strong showing would increase the possibility of the film finally making its way over to these shores sometime soon.
Fingers crossed that means we’ll be getting to see more scenes like this:
Meanwhile, Franco was honoured this week by LGBT film festival OutFest for his contributions to LGBT film.
