The stars of the eagerly anticipated Red, White, and Royal Blue have been posing up a storm during filming with the author of the original novel, Casey McQuiston.

Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine, who we last saw playfully competing over who was taller, can be seen smiling and posing alongside the book’s author in images shared on McQuiston’s Instagram recently.

In the caption, the author wrote: “Can confirm both @taylorzakharperez and @nicholasgalitzine are taller than me!”

“This gives me warm fuzzies,” one person commented while another said: “the way i’m trying not to freak out at pizza express rn”. Been there, babe.

It follows previously seen images on Twitter that appear to show Taylor and Nicholas in character on set.

While we’ve not had much news from the Prime Video set Attitude recently spoke to another of the film’s stars: Polo Morín.

The Mexican actor, 31, confirmed in an exclusive interview that his character was an amalgamation of two characters from McQuiston’s book – “Liam and Rafael, sort of. I play a journalist, who is a former partner of Alex,” Polo clarified.

On whether the film will be as raunchy as the book (there are a few scenes where the main characters get it on) Polo teased: “I mean, it remains sexy, but it’s not as sexual, I don’t think.”

Red, White, and Royal Blue focuses on Claremont-Diaz, the son of the current President of the United States, and Prince Henry, a member of the British royal family, two enemies who after a public altercation are forced to enter an Instagrammable friendship to cover up their long-running feud.

However, after spending time together the pair’s relationship begins to develop into something else…

The film version also stars Uma Thurman as Alex’s mum, US President Ellen Claremont and currently has no release date.

The Attitude September/October issue is available to download and order in print now and will be on newsstands from Thursday 4 August.
