Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine are getting into character as they argue over who’s taller in a new promo for the film Red, White, and Royal Blue.

The stars, who will play Alex Claremont-Diaz, the son of the current President of the United States, and Prince Henry, a member of the British royal family respectively confirmed the film had officially entered production as they appeared on set.

In the Tik Tok posted to Prime Video’s account the two introduce themselves before Taylor says: “we are in London on the set of Red, White, and Royal Blue.”

Nicholas, sporting a princely haircut, chimes in: “We are officially in productions and we can’t wait to bring Henry and Alex’s story to life.”

After a momentary pause, Nicholas says underbreath slightly: “You know I’m taller than you, right?”

Taylor replies: “In your dreams, man” to which Nicholas retorts: ‘Like 3 inches, I’m like 6ft 5.”

“Are we really doing this right now?” Taylor asks before the Nicholas asks for a measuring tape.

The two men were announced as the film’s leads earlier this month.

Perez is best known for his role in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth films, while Galitzine has already played a prince on the silver screen, starring in the Camila Cabello-led Cinderella for Amazon.

Alongside the two men, Hollywood legend Uma Thurman has been cast as President Ellen Claremont.

Red, White, and Royal Blue is based on Casey McQuiston’s novel and focuses on Alex and Henry, two enemies who after a public altercation are forced to enter an Instagrammable friendship to cover up their long-running feud.

However, after spending time together the pair’s relationship begins to develop into something else…
