Public mural of Trump and Putin locking lips goes viral

By Rhys Matthews

Artist Mindaugas Bonanu has captured the budding romance between Presidential hopeful Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump has described Putin as ‘very bright’ and a ‘strong leader’, according to the Wall Street Journal, and it seems the flirting has reached new heights as the pair are portrayed sharing a very intimate moment.

Power couple Trump and Putin (Pump? Trutin?) can be seen embraced in Vilnius, Lithuania on the wall of a diner.

“‘They both have an ego that is too big, and it is funny that they get along well,” the establishment’s owner Čečkauskas said in an interview with the Baltic News Service . “We are in a sort of a Cold War again, and America may get a president who will want to be friends with Russia.”

The painting is a reference to the famous 1979 “Socialist Fraternal Kiss” between Russian secretary Leonid Brezhnev and German polititian Erich Honecker, which was depicted on the Berlin Wall.

Personally, we think they’re welcome to each other.
