Orville Peck releases brand new video for single ‘Queen of the Rodeo’ – WATCH
The masked musician is continuing to make waves following his 2019 debut record 'Pony'

Orville Peck releases a brand new video for his latest single ‘Queen of the Rodeo’.
The new single was released on YouTube on Monday (February 24) and features a number of cameos to look out for.
DRAGULA queen Louisianna Purchase and model Tess Holliday both make appearances in the Western-inspired video.
As well as Canadian drag talent Thanks Jem who stars as Miss Bitter Prairi, a beauty pageant contestant who gets a morale boost from seeing Peck performing on TV.
Directed by Austin Peters, the eight-minute video ends with a written tribute: “For all the LGBTQ+ and two-spirit community members working and performing in rodeos, ranches, and roadhouses across North America.”

Speaking about the video, Peck said in a statement it was a tribute to his close friend Jem.
“Jem is a First Nations drag queen from Vancouver, BC, and also the star of our video,” he says.
“She’s always fighting against perception and has a hard time fitting in with the other queens, but to me she has always been a star.
“The song and video are about allowing yourself to get out of your own way, beat your demons, and crown yourself queen of the rodeo.”
Back in January, Peck was named Apple Music’s first Up Next artist of 2020.
The enigmatic masked singer, who identifies as queer, is the latest artist to join the Apple Music initiative shining a spotlight on rising talent in the industry.
