Michael Rice has been picked to represent the UK in the ‘Eurovision Song Contest’
The singer won the public vote during 'Eurovision: You Decide' on Friday

Michael Rice will represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest.
On Friday (February 8), six hopefuls took to the stage in a bid to win the public vote to represent the country in the upcoming song contest – which is set to be held in Tel Aviv following Netta’s win last year.
Michael – who won the BBC’s Geri Horner-fronted singing competition All Together Now last year – went up against Holly Tandy and they both performed their versions of ‘It’s Bigger Than Us’.
However, judges Rylan Clark-Neal, Mollie King and Marvin Humes picked Michael to go to the public vote.
He went up against Kerrie-Anne – who sang ‘Sweet Lies’ – and Jordan Clarke, who sang ‘Freaks’.
The public then voted for Michael to go on and represent the country.
