Matthew Lewis returns to the London stage in new show ‘Unfaithful’

By Will Stroude

Following the sold out productions of The Dazzle and Bug at London Theatre space Found111, Emily Dobbs Productions has unveiled a brand new production, set to premiere in London later this month.

Written by award-winning playwright Owen McCafferty and directed by Adam Penford, Unfaithful stars Sean Campion, Niamh Cusack, Ruta Gedmintas and former Attitude cover star Matthew Lewis as two couples on the brink in a drama exploring a world of unspoken desire and regret.

The production marks Lewis’s first stage appearance since making his West End debut back 2012 in Jonathan Lewis’s Our Boys.

The 27-year-old former Harry Potter star, who broke the internet and made JK Rowling blush when he appeared in the pages of Attitude last summer, has already appeared in big-budget romantic drama Me Before You this year, and this surely marks a rare opportunity him in the flesh on the London stage.

Unfaithful will open for a six-week run at Found111, the original site of the Central St Martins School of Art at 111 Charing Cross Road, on Thursday 25 August.

Tickets are on sale now here.
