Madonna is rumoured to be preparing to announce a new world tour to support her upcoming 13th studio album.

Australian site Ticketek have set up a new Madonna “wait list”, which is usually a good indicator that shows are shortly going to be announced.

The Australian leg of Madonna’s last tour, 2012’s ‘The MDNA Tour’, was cancelled – but the Don’t Tell Me singer promised fans “the greatest show on earth” when she next visited.

Madonna has teased details about her upcoming album on Instagram in recent months. She has revealed that she is working with the likes of Natalia Kills, Diplo and Avicii on new material.

She also hinted that she might be working with UK dance act Disclosure, but the duo have since dismissed these rumours.

Meanwhile, she recently unveiled lyrics from new song Messiah, which may be released as the lead single from the record.

Madonna’s last studio album, MDNA, was released in 2012 and reached Number One in the US and UK. She scored her 13th and most recent UK chart-topping single with 4 Minutes in 2008.
