In a new Q&A Madonna has shared that she is “gagging” to work with Britney Spears again and her favourite tracks off her new album, as well as new details about her biopic.

In the new ‘Finally Enough Talk: 50 Questions With Madonna’ interview, which is in the vein of Vogue’s ’73 Questions’ series, Madonna shared more insight into the creation of her new retrospective album Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones.

Wandering around her house, across her garden and onto a golf cart to her horse stables, the 64-year-old hitmaker bares all in relation to her impressive body of work, naming ‘Ray of Light’ and ‘Die Another Day’ as her favourite remixed tracks on her latest album.

The album was released in mid-August and Madonna notes that “the world needs to dance, we’ve been through enough,” as the reasoning behind why she’s releasing this music now.

While reminiscing on her hits, Madonna also notes: “I am gagging to work with Britney again”

Madonna co-wrote ‘Me Against the Music’ with Spears, the 2003 track appeared on the latter’s fourth studio album, In the Zone, and saw the iconic music video moment where the pair are playing a game of cat and mouse before they nearly lock lips in the video’s final moments.

Other Madonna interview titbits include that she’d like to revisit making house music, that the biggest life lesson she’s learnt is that “none of this is real” as well as the fact that sex is her greatest guilty pleasure, her zodiac sign, and her current favourite obsession.

The hitmaker is also being kept busy with the pre-production of her biopic, which she is co-writing and directing;

“The biggest challenge is cramming my entire life into a feature-length film,” she says.

While a lot of production details are being kept under wraps, what we do know is that actress Julia Garner will be playing the pop icon – it’s some big shoes to fill in a performance that will play out in front of the living legend nevertheless.
