Ollie Locke is branching out into the world of matchmaking with his very own gay dating app.

The reality star, who came out as gay last year after previously identifying as bisexual, has teamed up with the creators of the dating app Bumble to create a new app called ‘Chappy’, billed as a “new chapter in gay dating” which will “change up the online dating game for gay and bi men.”

The app will allow users to choose what they’re looking for by sliding scale to match users with men looking for similar things.

Speaking to the The Mirror about the app, 29-year-old Ollie said: “Chappy represents the future of gay dating and we’re thrilled to have an investor and partner as well versed in the market as Whitney and Bumble.

“In addition to fully understanding our ethos and mission to normalise gay dating, Bumble also knows the importance of an app fully recognising the needs of the user.”

Although the app is yet to be launched, the website states: “At Chappy, we want to provide gay men with a safe, responsible and welcoming space for connecting and dating.

“Our Chappy community allows gay men to find something on their terms, in a way that makes them feel respected and confident. We’re part romance, part rendezvous, but all gentleman.”

The app is set to to be released in the coming weeks, and guys are being encouraged to sign up for the pre-launch through the Chappy website.
