Lori Petty is to reprise her role in Orange Is the New Black for the show’s forthcoming third season.

Tank Girl and A League of Their Own star Petty, whose recent TV appearances include spots on Prison Break and House, appeared in the first episode of season two as Lolly, a memorable fellow inmate that Taylor Schilling’s heroine, Piper, met on a prison transport plane.

She will reprise her role in season three, but Netflix has declined to reveal details of the storyline which will bring her character back into the drama, reports Entertainment Weekly.

Fringe actress Blair Brown recently signed up to guest star in the show’s third season too – find out more here. Season three of Orange Is the New Black is due to launch on Netflix in 2015.

Meanwhile, earlier this month (August), actress Uzo Aduba won an Emmy for her role as ‘Crazy Eyes’ on the hit women’s prison drama – check out her acceptance speech here.
