Listen to Cher’s camp-tastic cover of ABBA’s ‘SOS’

The legendary signer has dropped a second track from her ABBA cover album 'Dancing Queen'.

By Will Stroude

In the age of Donald Trump, they say that a hero will rise once again.

Yep, after previously limiting her battle against the impending darkness to Twitter, Cher is back to spread light across the world in the form of an entire album of ABBA covers – and the legendary singer has just given fans their second taste of the record with another cover of one of the group’s staple hits, ‘SOS’.

The newly-Cher-ified track is the second to be lifted from Dancing Queen following the release of ‘Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)’ earlier this month, and if you were hoping for an unexpected, understated twist on the 1975 classic, then THINK AGAIN, because the ‘Believe’ singer turns the camp dial up to a 10 before promptly breaking it off completely.

Well, you certainly can’t accuse her of not knowing her audience.

Dancing Queen is Cher’s first album since 2013’s Closer to the Truth and is released on 28 September. Check out the tracklist below:
