Listen to Azealia’s new single ‘Heavy Metal and Reflective’

Azealia Banks has debuted her new single Heavy Metal and Reflective – listen to it below.

Heavy Metal and Reflective is taken from the rapper’s long-delayed debut album Broke with Expensive Taste, and is Banks’ first release since she revealed she had been dropped by her record label earlier this month (July). Click here to find out more.

The track was originally supposed to debut later this week, but Banks has uploaded it to her official Soundcloud page earlier than originally planned after a low-quality version leaking onto the internet. See her tweet below.

During a series of tweets, Banks also revealed that the track’s accompanying music video will debut next month – see the tweet below.

The mouthy rapper rose to fame in 2011, when her track 212 created a huge buzz online and later became a top 20 hit in the UK. Later singles ATM JAM and Yung Rapunxel failed to make a similar impact, and her debut album continued to be pushed back.
