Listen: Call Me Loop celebrates new ‘Drama’ EP with exclusive Attitude girl power playlist

We're bopping on International Women's Day.

By Will Stroude

Today marks International Women’s day (8 March), and we can think of no better way to mark the occasion than with a tribute some of our favourite ladies.

Thankfully, British pop starlet Call Me Loop is on hand to share an exclusive playlist of some of her fave girl power bangers – which makes perfect sense, seeing as her brand new EP Drama is five tracks of fun and fearless female empowerment.

After establishing herself as one of the UK’s hottest new artists last year (‘Give ‘n Take’ remains a daily staple at Attitude HQ), Call Me Loop looks set for even greater things in 2019, and on the basis of her exclusive girl power playlist, featuring everything from Rihanna and Lizzo to early nougties classics from Destiny’s Child and Xtina, if safe to say she’s got TASTE.

Of her brand new five-track EP Drama, she says: “I’m so excited to release Drama. I feel like it’s a perfect reflection of where I am right now as both a writer and an artist.

“Each song reveals a different side of me, and I know from playing these tracks live just how relatable listeners find the messages within them.

“That’s my favourite thing about songwriting and performing; sharing my stories with people and seeing them connect so strongly with them – and then all having a sing and a dance and a laugh along to them!”
