Lil Nas X teases the tracklist for his debut album

Apparently, the record is 98 per cent complete *insert squeals of excitement*

Lil Nas X whet appetites for the release of his highly anticipated debut album by giving fans a glimpse of the tracklist.

Taking to Instagram, the up-and-coming rapper shared a page of what appeared to be potential song titles.

These included ‘Call Me By Your Name’ – a real, ahem, peach of a ditty that he’d previously posted on his socials earlier this year – alongside ‘Titanic,’ ‘One of Me’ and ‘Don’t Want It.’

Lil Nas joked that he needed to return to the studio after dining out on his massive hit ‘Old Town Road,’ with Billy Ray Cyrus.

“gonna start back releasing music soon the old town road money running out,” he tweeted, before updating his bio to say the as-yet-untitled album is “98% DONE.”

Last year, Lil Nas, 21, came out as gay, but he has yet to turn up the volume on his sexuality in his music.

In an interview with The Guardian, the rising star opened up about wanting “to represent the LGBT community” and also how his family took the news.

“It’s not something that’s ever brought up or we speak about. We’re quiet on it. Nobody’s like, ‘Oh, you got a boyfriend?’” he said.

Lil Nas – who dropped his EP, 7, last summer – won two awards at this year’s Grammys for ‘Old Town Road,’ namely best pop duo/group performance and best music video.

It was during the song’s 19-week (!) reign at number one in the US that Lil Nas came out as gay, becoming the first artist to do so while sat atop the charts.
