Lil Nas X plays coy about his relationship status on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The ‘Old Town Road’ rapper came out at the end of Pride month this year and while joining Ellen on her show, he revealed he came out to his family earlier in the month as a sort of ‘heads up’.
While speaking to Ellen, the 20 year old discussed his decision to come out and said: “Just knowing it was something I should have been done, but I was not in a position where I had to worry about family and friends and how they would react, I guess.
“But in the past year, I’m in a new level, so it doesn’t really matter, I guess. Also, how it would be good for the youngins who are listening to me right now, who are gonna have to go through stuff like this in the future, to know it’s alright.”
Ellen then asked whether he is in a relationship and the rapper replied: “Somewhat, somewhat.”
