Leslie Jordan has offered his take on this week’s headlines around Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The Sussexes gave an explosive interview to talk show queen Oprah Winfrey on Sunday, in which they claimed there were “concerns” within the Royal Family over their son Archie’s skin tone.

Meghan, who says she felt suicidal during her time as a working Royal, also claims ‘The Firm’ failed to support her when she asked for help over her mental health.

“We gays know drama better than anybody”

Will & Grace actor Leslie addressed the matter on Instagram this week, saying Meghan needs to express “her truth.”

“I’ve been watching this Oprah interview with Meghan Markle,” the Emmy-winner said. “Shit’s getting real.

“She needs to speak her truth. That’s wonderful.”

The Celebrity Big Brother star also said: “But you don’t tell any queen, let alone The Queen, to apologise for losing a war of drama.

“I hope those kids know what they’re getting into.

“But I will say this, we gays know drama better than anybody and we’ve got her back. Yes maam. Ms. Markle, the gays have got your back in this royal battle.”

Leslie received supportive comments from Juliette Lewis, Jeff Leatham and Hilaria Baldwin for his video.

More than 12 million viewers tuned in to see Harry and Meghan’s interview on ITV on Monday. The broadcast meanwhile pulled in 17.1 million viewers in the US on CBS.
