Lady Gaga reveals ‘Chromatica’ tracklist, confirms duets with Ariana Grande and Elton John

Oh my Gaga!

By Tim Heap

Despite much of the world coming to a halt amidst coronavirus lockdowns, Lady Gaga seems to have sped up as she flits between her philanthropical work – such as helping to raise over £100m for WHO – and teasing out the details of her forthcoming album.

The pop icon’s sixth album – Chromatica – was due for release earlier this month but has been delayed due to the current pandemic.

Soon after announcing the delay, in which she said “it doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic”, Gaga placated fans by revealing the stunning album artwork.

While Chromatica still doesn’t have a new release date, Mother Monster has now released the tracklist – after a version was leaked yesterday (22 April) from the album’s pre-order page on Target’s website, which was accidentally posted early.

The record – a return to pop bangers following Gaga’s country-tinged Joanne era – will include 16 tracks, including collaborations with Ariana Grande on ‘Rain On Me’, Elton John on ‘Sine from Above’ and K-Pop girlband BLACKPINK on ‘Sour Candy’.

The leaked version of the list included bonus tracks ‘Love Me Right’, a remix of lead single ‘Stupid Love’ and a piano demo of ‘1000 Doves’.

One of Chromatica’s tracks is called ‘Enigma’ – the same name as her Las Vegas residency show which debuted last year.

A leaked version of album’s final track, ‘Babylon’, has been circulating on social media in recent weeks.
