Lady Gaga delivers impassioned speech and performance at final Clinton rally – WATCH

By Will Stroude

The polls are open, and America is currently deciding who will become its 45th president – but there was still time for one last campaign push last night from avowed Hillary Clinton supporter Lady Gaga.

The musical superstar took to the stage in Raleigh, North Carolina to make a final plea to voters ahead of today’s election, paying tribute to Clinton’s “decades of experience, education, leadership and wisdom”.

Alluding to the former Secretary of State’s “mean” and “absurd” opponent, Donald Trump, Gaga told supporters: “I am so very proud to be here today. I could never have fathomed that I would experience, in my lifetime, that a woman would become president of the United States.”

Following her impassioned speech, the ‘Perfect Illusion singer treated crowds to a performance of ‘Come To Mama’ from her recently-released fifth studio album Joanne, before singing a duet of rock classic ‘Livin’ On a Prayer’ with Bon Jovi.
