Kit Harington says there’s a big problem with masculinity and homosexuality in Hollywood

The 'Game of Thrones' star slammed the comic book movies who have yet to cast an openly gay as a superhero

Kit Harington says there is a “big problem” with masculinity and homosexuality in Hollywood.

The Game of Thrones star is currently promoting his new film The Death and Life of John F Donovan at the Toronto International Film Festival and while speaking to reporters, the actor said he was bothered that masculinity and homosexuality cannot go hand-in-hand.

He said: “There’s a big problem with masculinity and homosexuality that they can’t somehow go hand in hand.

“That we can’t have someone in a Marvel movie who’s gay in real life and plays some superhero. I mean, when is that going to happen?”

Despite there being multiple LGBT characters in the Marvel comics, the movie and TV adaptations have failed to include these characters.
