Katy B has dismissed speculation that she will appear as a coach on the new series of The Voice UK.

The Crying For No Reason singer has emerged as one of the favourites to replace Kylie Minogue when the BBC singing competition returns in 2015.

Katy told Digital Spy: “My mum called me the other day and was like, ‘You’re the favourite on Coral to take [Kylie’s] spot!’ I was like, ‘Really?'”

She added: “I would definitely want a little more experience. I don’t think I’m ready to be a judge.

“Right now I’m just enjoying writing songs and singing, so I need to get that out of my system for a few more years before I start coaching people.”

Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am and Ricky Wilson have yet to confirm whether they will return to their seats on the panel for the fourth series.
