Heathers remake cast a cute gay actor

By Darren Mew

80’s cult classic Heathers is coming back in the form of a TV show sometime next year and the three Heathers have finally all been cast.

Brendan Scannell is an actor and comedian. The gay actor will be playing one of the three Heathers along side Melanie Field and Jasmine Mathews.

The original Heathers had three women but to TV remake is having a modern update.

Heather Duke, who was originally played by non other than Shannen Doherty is now going to be a genderqueer character played by Scannell.

As well as this, Heather McNamara played by Jasmine Mathews in the new version, is going to be a black lesbian.

The original Heathers tells the story of Veronica (being played by Grace Victoria Cox) and her boyfriend J.D (who will be played by James Scully) who try to negotiate the social order of their high school.

But for now let is swoon over Brendan Scannell.
