Has someone tried to steal Spice Girls Trio GEM’s new song?

By Chris Godfrey

The songwriter and Producer for GEM – the recently reformed trio of Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Mel B – has had his laptop stolen from a London Hotel, according to reports from Digital Spy.

The laptop was stolen from the K West hotel in London last Friday, on the 20th Anniversary of ‘Wannabe’.

Producer Eliot Kennedy took to Twitter to vent his anger:

Luckily for the girls – and Spice fans worldwide – Eliot knows a thing or two about hard drive security, and assured fans that no one except him can get their hands on any music.

Speaking about recording with GEM to Good Morning Britain, Kennedy said “We’ve been in the studio with just three of them and we had a fantastic couple of days,”

“It’s 20 years, that’s a serious amount of time and they’ve had such a massive influence on women around the world. America’s likely to have a woman President, we’re gonna have another woman Prime Minister – women rock!”
