Emotional Kelly Clarkson drops a bombshell mid-concert

Kelly Clarkson has revealed that she and husband Brandon Blackstock are expecting their second child together.

The 33-year-old former American Idol winner made the surprise announcement during her Piece by Piece Tour show at the Staples Center on in Los Angeles last night (August 19).

After finishing a performance Piece By Piece – a touching mid-tempo track which deals with her upbringing and current family life with Blackstock – an emotional Clarkson told the crowd: “I was not planning on announcing this, but I’m pregnant – totally pregnant.”

Kelly and Brandon welcomed their first child – a daughter named River Rose – in June 2014.
