Drag Race UK‘s OG winner, The Vivienne, has said approaching All Stars 7 as the only international queen was “nerve-racking” but that it felt right to be there.

The series 1 winner of the UK franchise of RuPaul’s Drag Race was speaking to Entertainment Weekly ahead of the seventh season of Drag Race All Stars, which features previous winners from Drag Race, All Stars, as well as The Vivienne.

Asked about the biggest difference between Drag Race and Drag Race UK she told EW: “It was the most nerve-racking thing, walking into that Werk Room with the biggest drag personalities on the planet.”

“It did feel right”

Continuing she said: “It’s a huge drag competition, but we’re making TV as well. There’s all this energy. [It’s about] finding the balance of not trying to scream [to] get my time, but just have a ball. I realized they’re just rotted, horrible drag queens like me.”

But she also tells EW that, “It did feel right.”

She adds: “I’ve always looked up at these queens. I had been doing drag before the show started, but I’ve watched these queens slay their seasons. We all do the same thing, we all love the art of drag.

Then the Liverpool queen possibly hints at some drama to come (we’d expect nothing less from Drag Race)

“Did we all see eye-to-eye all the way through the season? No. It’s Drag Race. Did we all leave as an amazing family? Absolutely. I’ve been to see Jinkx the minute she was in the U.K., cheering her on, [asking myself] ‘What can I take her? What British snacks hasn’t she eaten yet?’ Turns out: none.”

Jaida Essence Hall, Jinkx Monsoon, Monet X Change, Raja, Shea Couleé, The Vivienne, Trinity ‘The Tuck’, and Yvie Oddly all make their return to the werkroom for All Stars 7, which will see the queens compete for the title of ‘Queen of Queens’.

The new 12-episode season will premiere in the UK exclusively on WOW Presents Plus, with the first two new episodes launching on Friday 20 May.

And of course, new episodes of Untucked will be available to stream in the UK exclusively on WOW Presents Plus, immediately following new episodes of All Stars 7. You wouldn’t want to only be getting half the story now, would you?!
