Dr Ranj Singh joins new series of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’
The doctor is best known for his role on 'This Morning'

Dr Ranj Singh is the latest celebrity to be announced to be joining Strictly Come Dancing.
The doctor – who appears on ITV’s This Morning and Watchdog on BBC1 – is the seventh contestant to be announced after former contestant Ruth Langsford revealed the news today (August 16).
Dr Ranj – who is openly gay – started his career five years ago on the CBeebies show Get Well Soon.
About joining the new series of the ballroom and latin dance competition, he said: “I’m so overwhelmed and excited to be part of this wonderful show.
“It’s an absolutely dream come true for me! I’ve been a massive fan for so long, and I can’t quite believe this is happening, but I’m going to give it my best shot.
“Anyone that knows me knows that I love a bit of sparkle… so bring on the glitter! I can’t wait.”
