Dame Joan Collins has teased her upcoming role in American Horror Story season eight.

Creator Ryan Murphy revealed the 84-year-old actress and novelist was joining the upcoming season earlier this month, stating that Collins will be playing Evan Peters’ grandmother

Collins has now teased the role in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, describing it with one special word.

When asked if she could describe her role in the show with one word, Collins said: “Glamorous. I’m not going to go any further than that.”

It’s not hard for the Dynasty star to be glamorous and we cannot wait to see what she brings to the hit horror anthology.

She also revealed why she chose to join the television show, saying: “I think it’s one of the best shows on television. I think Ryan Murphy is a genius.

“All of his shows are fabulous and I was honoured to be asked to do it and I can’t tell you anything about it because my lips have to be sealed.”

Alongside Collins, American Horror Story stars Evan Peters, Kathy Bates and Sarah Paulson are returning to the show.

Reports suggest the upcoming season will reunite the stars of season one and three for Horror Story’s first crossover.

American Horror Story season eight will premiere later this year on FX.
