Cumberbatch on 'Sherlock' sex: 'I'd know where to tongue'

Benedict Cumberbatch has teased fans as to what Sherlock Holmes would be like between the sheets.

The British actor, who has played the iconic detective on the BBC drama series Sherlock since 2010, revealed in graphic detail about how the character would “pleasure” his partner in the bedroom.

“He knows bodies very well. I’d know exactly where to put my fingers, where to put my tongue, where to put my – his I should say – his fingers, his tongue,” he told Elle.

“I’d know exactly how to get that person into it, and get pleasure out of making that person feel pleasure to the point that I probably wouldn’t even have to enter. But when I did it would be explosive,” he added.

Discussing the Sherlock’s preparation beforehand, Cumberbatch confirmed that the detective would wear protection, saying: “I’d do a little experiment to do with durability, length, girth and um, strength.”

Sadly, when asked if fans will ever see such scenes acted out on the show, he replied: “You never will. It’s not that kind of a programme, is it?”
