Coronation Street’s Billy to finally choose between Todd and Sean

By Samuel McManus

The gay love triangle that has gripped the nation will finally be over next week as Coronation Street’s Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) will finally make a decision between his two love interests Todd Grimshaw (Bruno Langley) and Sean Tully (Antony Cotton).

In scenes set to air during new Friday’s episode of the ITV soap, Sean demands to know what’s going on between them after returning home. Billy assures Sean there’s nobody else but, being disbelieving, Sean throws him out before calling Eileen in the cab office to tell her that Billy has jumped him.

During a confrontation between Eileen and Billy, they are interrupted by Tracy who drags Billy into the floor shop, ordering Todd and Billy to sort out their relationship now that they’re both single.

While Billy gathers the last of his things from Number 11, Todd leans in for a kiss. Billy tries to resist but his feelings get the better of him and they kiss passionately.

These scenes will air ITV at 8:30pm on Friday July 8.
