‘s recent gay kiss reportedly received around 100 Ofcom complaints.

Last week’s scene, which featured Todd Grimshaw (Bruno Langley) and Marcus Dent (Charlie Condou) kissing, was deemed too risqué by some viewers.

The actors were seen kissing shirtless on the Grimshaw’s sofa, before going upstairs to the bedroom.

Ofcom confirmed to the Daily Star that they will look into the complaints to see if the scenes were unsuitable to air before the watershed.

EastEnders was the subject of similar complaints in January after airing a kiss between actors Gary Lucy and Sam Strike.

Coronation Street‘s Charlie Condou discussed his problem with the term ‘openly gay’ in his first Attitude column this week – read here.
