Chris Pratt defended by Avengers stars as he’s branded ‘worst’ Hollywood Chris

Chris Pratt has been defended by various costars following online chatter around his perceived political affiliations and historic connection to homophobic church Hillsong.
Debate has raged around whether the Jurassic World star is ‘problematic’ after a Twitter user pitted him against Chris Pine, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth in a tweet last week, and said: “One’s got to go.”
Chris did not fare well in the ensuing debate, with one person commenting: “Pratt. His views are terrible and he supports anti-lgbtq churches. Easy.”
Another added of Pratt’s (unconfirmed) political beliefs: “Remember chris pratt is a trump supporter and a part of anti- lgbtq + church….stan chris evans for clear skin.”

“Sit with your own defects”
Now, stars such as Robert Downey Jr. are jumping to Pratt’s defence.
Sharing a picture of he and Chris on set, the Iron Man star said: “What a world… The ‘sinless’ are casting stones at my #brother, Chris Pratt…”

The 55-year-old continued: “A real #Christian who lives by #principle, has never demonstrated anything but #positivity and #gratitude… AND he just married into a family that makes space for civil discourse and (just plain fact) INSISTS on service as the highest value.
“If you take issue with Chris,,, I’ve got a novel idea. Delete your social media accounts, sit with your OWN defects of #character, work on THEM, then celebrate your humanness… @prattprattpratt I #gotyerbackbackback. [Sic]”
Mark Ruffalo meanwhile tweeted: “You all, @prattprattpratt is as solid a man there is. I know him personally, and instead of casting aspersions, look at how he lives his life. He is just not overtly political as a rule. This is a distraction. Let’s keep our eyes on the prize, friends. We are so close now.”
