Get your lighters in the air, because queen of power ballads Celine Dion is set to play a one-off UK show this summer.

The musical superstar will headline Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park festival in London on Friday July 5th, in what will be her only European Tour tour date of 2019.

Dion, who has shifted over 200 million copies worldwide and boasts the highest-grossing Las Vegas residency of all time, will headline the annual music event alongside Florence + The Machine and Robbie Williams.

In a statement, the ‘My Heart Will Go On’ singer said: “It’s my first time doing a show in beautiful Hyde Park. I’m so excited.

“I love London, and it’s a great honour for me to be part of the Barclaycard presents BST Hyde Park concerts.

“I can’t wait. Summertime in London, here we come!”

James King, senior vice president of AEG Presents, said: “Celine’s record-breaking career has seen her perform her many iconic songs on the globe’s most iconic stages, yet never before in Hyde Park.

“It is therefore with the utmost excitement that we are bringing Celine Dion to Hyde Park for her only European show of 2019.”

Barclaycard pre-sale starts tomorrow, Wednesday 23 January, at 9am, with official pre-sale set to begin on Friday 25 January at 9am. Tickets will go on general salde next Tuesday 29 January at 9am.
