Cardi B calls out ‘white twinks’ for being ‘weird’ on Twitter: ‘I’m not taking it back’

Cardi B has called out “white twinks” on Twitter for being “weird” – specifically, those who say “the most disrespectful shit.”
In case you didn’t know (which we doubt!), the word ‘twink’ is commonly used to describe a young gay or bisexual man.
‘WAP’ singer Cardi – who identifies as bisexual – made the remarks to her 18.4m followers on the platform on Wednesday.
“White twinks on this app are weird,” the star opined. “You don’t dictate people’s action.”

She later doubled down on the comments (and offered some welcome context), saying: “I said what I said and I’m not taking it back!!!”

The star – known for hits like ‘I Like It’ and ‘Bodak Yellow’ – previously faced backlash for defending husband Offet’s use of the word ‘queer’ in a song lyric (“I cannot vibe with queers”).
She said in a 2018 vlog: “I’m not going to let somebody call him homophobic, when I know that he’s not. He literally told me I didn’t even know that was a word for gays.”
