Britney Spears channels inner Aretha Franklin in Instagram video
The pop icon recorded herself singing Franklin's 1968 hit Think

Britney Spears has channelled her inner Aretha Franklin in a new Instagram video.
The pop icon took to the photosharing to post a video of her singing Franklin 1968 hit Think and had nothing but praise for the RESPECT hitmaker.
Wearing a dressing gown and using one of the Instagram filters giving her glittering bunny ears, she wrote: “Channeling my inner Aretha Franklin – the woman has got so much soul!!!! [sic]”
Although the filter makes her pitch higher, the Baby One More Time hitmaker proved she still has got a perfect voice.
Recently, the singer was awarded the Vanguard Award at the GLAAD Awards ceremony and thanked the LGBT community for their undying love.
While accepting the award, she said: “I feel like our society puts such an emphasis on what’s ‘normal’ and to be ‘different’ is unusual or seen as strange.
“But to be accepted unconditionally and to be able to express yourself as an individual through art is such a blessing.
“We can lift each other up and show our gifts without hesitation.
“Being a mother has shown me what it means to love unconditionally and you all in this room have shown me throughout my career what it means to be loved unconditionally.”
