Billy Porter is in talks to play the Fairy Godmother in Sony’s Cinderella.
The Pose star is one award away from having an EGOT and we are begging for the actor to get himself a well-deserved Oscar and that could be happening.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Porter is in talks to join Sony’s reimagining of the classic fairytale Cinderella, taking on the role of the Fairy Godmother – a role perfect for Porter.
It was confirmed early this year that Camila Cabello will play the titular role in the new movie and will also provide the music for the film, which will be directed by Kay Cannon.
Ever since Disney’s animated classic back in 1950, there have been countless reimaginings of the iconic story.
Most recently Lily James took on the titular role alongside Richard Madden back in 2015.
Madden previously said he had to work so hard to hid his bulge while playing the Prince in the live-action remake.
