It's reported that the Geordie Shore star pulled out due to illness

Austin Armacost has replaced Scotty T in a ‘raunchy, filthy’ adult pantomime.

It’s reported the Geordie Shore star was in line to star as the titular character in Jack and His Giant Beanstalk but with days before the opening night, Scotty T unexpectedly pulled out leaving the slot of Jack to be filled.

Luckily, Austin – a former Attitude cover star and Celebrity Big Brother star – was available to fill the shoes and had to start rehearsals just a day after receiving the script.

Austin told Attitude: “I got a call at 3pm on Saturday from the producer and by 4pm I was running lines at home.

“Sunday morning, I was in rehearsals. It’s so sad when people can’t fulfil their obligations.”

The show – which has been described as a ‘camp, filthy and fabulous’ adult pantomime – stars Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist and Drag Idol UK winner Danny Beard and Divina De Campo, the first drag artist on The Voice UK.

And Austin said the show is “coming together really well” and said it will be “non-stop laughing”.

He continued: “The show is coming together really well! Working with these three drag queens is entertaining as fuck!

“The show is going to be a non-stop laughing, raunchy, filthy, display of quirkiness! So glad to be a part of this cast as we are all working very hard!”

Although The Sun claims Scotty T dropped out due to illness, a source says: “Scotty pulled out with no warning leaving the cast without a star.”

The panto – which will open at Viva Blackpool on January 23 – is set to go on tour and visit Newcastle, London and Aberdeen.
