The White Lotus star Aubrey Plaza is the latest to join the cast of Marvel’s Agatha: Coven Of Chaos series.

Aubrey will be joining Hearstopper’s leading man Joe Locke and Kathryn Hahn in the upcoming series, Variety reports.

Agatha: Coven Of Chaos is a spin-off of Marvel’s popular WandaVision that will see Hahn reprising her role of the witch Agatha Harkness.

It’s been reported that Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum Emma Caulfield Ford will also reprise her WandaVision role of Dottie.

In WandaVision, we saw Agatha attempting to steal Wanda Maximoff’s (Elizabeth Olsen) magic but was left trapped in the run-down town of Westview as her alter-ego, Agnes, Wanda’s nosy neighbour.

The exact details, like who Aubrey will play in the spinoff or whether this is a sequel or a prequel to WandaVision, are being kept secretive, but for Aubrey to be cast the “dark comedy” series must have an unconventional spark.

Plaza came out as bisexual publically in 2016, the 38-year-old actor is married to Life After Beth screenwriter Jeff Baena and has long had a dedicated LGBTQ+ following.

“Girls are into me — that’s no secret. Hey, I’m into them too. I fall in love with girls and guys. I can’t help it,” she told the Advocate in 2016.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos was first announced in November 2021 with WandaVision’s head writer and executive producer, Jac Schaefer, returning in both roles.

Upon the announcement of Locke’s Agatha: Coven Of Chaos casting, the 19-year-old actor shared three purple hearts and a crying emoji face on Twitter.

Joe’s Heartstopper castmate, Sebastian Croft, who played the antagonist Ben, celebrated with, “MARVEL HERE HE COMES”
