Anderson Cooper reveals he ‘doesn’t like’ being a silver fox

By Fabio Crispim

Anderson Cooper has a reputation of being a silver fox but the CNN presenter has revealed that he doesn’t like it.

While co-hosting Live With Kelly alongside Kelly Ripa on Wednesday (June 22) Cooper said, “If I could I would probably colour my hair but I can’t imagine sitting like at a salon with tin foil in my hair reading old copies of Rosie [magazine] for hours on end which is probably what’s required.”

“At this point it’s too late – the cow has left the barn. At this point it would look ridiculous,” he adds.

According to Gay Star News, Ripa disagreed and said, “Silver is your signature colour – you were born to be silver.”

Cooper, who recently broke down while paying tribute to the Orlando shooting, said: “I had brown hair then in my 20’s I had salt and pepper hair and now I keep thinking, ‘There’s got to be some pepper in there somewhere’, I keep looking and there’s no pepper. In my mind I still have brown hair so every time I look in the mirror I think, ‘Who’s that old guy?’ And it’s me!”

“Plus, I’ve started to look like a White Walker from Game of Thrones. With the paleness it’s just too much.”

We disagree with you there, Cooper.
